It's silly that everyone is freaking out about the NFL replacement refs.  After all, it's not like games were called perfectly before 2012.

Does anyone remember the San Francisco pass interference controversy?  The Steelers Thanksgiving day coin toss?  The Troy Polamalu phantom fumble? The Calvin Johnson touchdown?  The Ed Hochuli apology?

These were all bad calls made by the normal referees, not mistakes by their replacements... and we survived.

Moreover, the NFL has a very good instant replay system in place (unlike baseball) to correct the important calls.

For example, every touchdown is reviewed; this began in 2011.  Plus, every controversial play is automatically reviewed after the 2-minute warning in each half.

The point is moot.
